About Us

Nestled in the enchanting landscapes of Georgia, USA, Transformation Consortium Inc (TCI) came into being in May 2020. Our journey began with a profound mission: to elevate lives and embolden socioeconomically disadvantaged, underserved, and at-risk communities, including vulnerable youth and young adults. As a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity, TCI operates with a global vision, steadfast in our commitment to fostering transformative change worldwide.

At the heart of our ethos lies an unwavering belief in the inherent potential of every individual, irrespective of their socioeconomic status. We are dedicated to catalyzing holistic development, ensuring that communities transcend limitations and evolve to their fullest capacities.

Our multifaceted approach encompasses a spectrum of initiatives tailored to meet diverse needs. From comprehensive educational programs to targeted outreach services, we strive to unlock the latent potential within each person we touch. The Founder

​

Edna Nwabuogor Okorie (nee Onumejor) is the Founder & Executive Director of Transformation Consortium Inc – TCI (501c3 nonprofit organization). She’s also a seasoned Program Director with a robust background in overseeing multifaceted initiatives aimed at community empowerment and social welfare. Currently serving as Program Director at Team Management 2000 (TM2K) Atlanta office in Georgia, Edna is dedicated to orchestrating all facets of the agency's programs, from meticulous planning and development to seamless implementation.

Career Highlights

With a tenure at TM2K spanning various roles, Edna has honed her skills and expertise in program management and community outreach:

  • As a Program Manager for Assisted Living, I am an accomplished professional who takes pride in utilizing my skills to give back to the community. My experience in healthcare spans my entire adult life, and in 2011, I entered into medical field enrolled and completed Medical Assisting at Remington College in Ohio during my internship I developed that is where I developed a passion for helping others in assisted living and supportive care . I participated in numerous seminars and training sessions through WALA and UW-Greenbay, focusing on Assisted Living and enhancing my knowledge and skills to support individuals with dual diagnosis, including Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Down Syndrome, Autism, Drug Addiction, and High Behavioral issues. I understand that we all can live life and love ourselves and with the correct resources and people around. We know ,"The best is yet to Come"

  • Prior to her current position, Edna served as both a Medical & Non-Medical Case Manager and an Assistant Program Coordinator at TM2K, where she demonstrated her commitment to holistic client care and program efficacy. Her responsibilities ranged from liaising with healthcare providers to coordinating community collaborations and ensuring program compliance.

  • Before joining TM2K, Edna served as a Program Executive at Transformation Consortium Inc (TCI), where she oversaw global operations, fostered strategic partnerships, and engaged funders to support the organization's mission.

Education and Language Skills

Edna is currently pursuing another Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management at Western Governors University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management from St. Gregory's University and an Associate of Science in Healthcare Professions from Georgia State University. Fluent in English, French, Igbo, and Ukwuani, Edna's language proficiency enriches her ability to engage diverse communities.

Community Engagement

Beyond her professional endeavors, Edna actively contributes to her community through volunteer work at local church outreach programs and initiatives focused on providing food and school supplies to those in need. Her dedication to service underscores her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the confines of her professional roles.

Edna's career trajectory exemplifies her unwavering commitment to program excellence, community engagement, and social responsibility. With a diverse skill set, a passion for service, and a drive for continuous improvement, she continues to inspire positive change and uplift those around her.

OUR GOALS

Expand Access: Increase the reach and accessibility of our educational and outreach services to serve a greater number of socioeconomically disadvantaged and underserved individuals, including at-risk youth, adults, re-entry ex-offenders, and those having behavioral health challenges.

Personalized Support: Develop and implement tailored programs and interventions that address the unique needs and circumstances of each individual, ensuring comprehensive support that facilitates their journey towards unlocking their full potential.

Collaborative Partnerships: Forge strategic partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance our holistic approach and leverage resources for transitional housing, mental health support, and substance abuse counseling.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and refine our programs and services through feedback mechanisms and data-driven insights, aiming to optimize effectiveness and better meet the evolving needs of our target population.

Empowerment and Advocacy: Empower individuals to become agents of change within their communities by providing them with the necessary tools, skills, and resources to advocate for themselves and others, promoting resilience and dignity.
